Author’s Note

This book was written from lived experience.

I am not a doctor, clinician, or medical professional. I am a woman who has lived inside a body shaped by Autoimmune Disease and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), and who has learned—slowly and imperfectly—how to build safety, regulation, and trust from the inside out.

What you’ll find in these pages is not instruction on how to fix yourself. It is an invitation to relate to your body differently. Everything shared here comes from personal experience, reflection, and nervous-system–led living. Take what resonates. Leave what doesn’t. Your body is the authority.

This book is meant to be a companion—not a prescription. It is designed to be returned to gently, read slowly, and engaged with in a way that honors your capacity.

You do not need to rush this work. You do not need to do it perfectly. You are allowed to go at your own pace.
